[SLOW UPDATES]
When a new law is put in place that one dozen teenage girls will have the opportunity to serve Princess Catherine as her newly-formed prep team, Amelie Wren is less than thrilled, to say the least. The royal family has never appealed to her. When she's selected by the princess herself, she is forced to reckon with her new future, bound to the monarchy for life.
Princess Catherine is sick of her father hiring overbearing women to fuss over her day in and day out. When she hears of his new decree, she realizes she needs to act quickly before there is nothing left for her but waiting for her father to pass the ruler's crown to her.
When Amelie and Catherine find each other at first, they immediately realize they can help each other out of their predicaments. But when they find themselves drawn to each other as more than just servant and served, they realize that mixing business and pleasure rarely works out. Heritance is the burden they both must carry, and the burden weight may end up crushing them.
