Ang hirap mabuhay kapag mahirap ka. That's why Kzechelle Myrren Trouvaille of Humanities and Social Sciences, makes sure her life won't revolve around high grades, medals, and recognitions - ayaw na niyang pahirapan pa lalo ang buhay niya. As much as possible, she'll avoid things that'll give her unnecessary headaches. But she can't really dodge every bullet - not when fate has its own story written for her. On her final year as a senior high, she'll be left with no choice but to face the predicaments she had always swore she'd never deal with. She'll be forced to shift into Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics strand, obtain high grades, and outrank the top student of the strand - Riven Caevyre Tan. As she steps onto the unfamiliar path she chose in her desperate pursuit to escape poverty, she'll fail to notice the fragments of the midsummer she once called her own, one by one, being left behind.
