WHERE Charles is Gryffindor's captain and he's obsessed. With Quidditch - which, fine, fair - but also with Slytherin's captain, Max Verstappen. He just hasn't quite figured out yet how far that obsession goes. Spoiler n.1: it's far. Like, dangerously far. Carlos is Gryffindor's Chaser and Charles' best friend. He's also-plot twist-Max's brother. Yeah. I promise it makes sense. Carlos hates Max and, obviously, Charles hates him too. Max can't stand either of them, because they're spoiled, reckless Gryffindors who spend most of their time pulling pranks and somehow getting cheered for it. Also because he just genuinely hates people. To be fair, Max has reasons. There's a war going on outside the school walls, and he seems to be the only one who's already paying the price for it-while everyone else still gets to live in blissful ignorance. Spoiler n.2: That's gonna change soon. Shoutout to Pierre Gasly, the only Gryffindor mature enough to keep Charles and Carlos from self-destructing, and to a whole cast of chaotic cameos coming your way as this mess of a story unfolds. P.s. Jegulus inspired!

Charles Leclerc had made many questionable decisions in his life. He had signed contracts without reading the fine print, he had trusted Ferrari's strategies more times than he should have, and he had once tried to outrun an actual airplane in a kart (which, to be fair, had been Max's idea). But asking Max Verstappen-of all people-to fake a relationship with him? That might just be his most ridiculous decision yet.
