Yuki, a half-human and half-vampire, lived alone as the world changed around him. He passed through every generation without aging. Young Niko is torn from his home during a violent raid, forced to march alongside other frightened children through the ruins of his city. As he witnesses the cruelty of his captors and faces the terrifying prospect of a slave auction, fear and despair threaten to overwhelm him but a small spark of hope and determination begins to grow.
