Peter Parker's life had never been straightforward. Especially not after the bug bite. The end of his junior year of high school is near, and, having been Spider-Man for a year, Peter gets a little reward when he lands Liz Allan. But good things always come to an end... just not so soon normally. After a seemingly routine battle at an Oscorp location goes sideways, Peter's left dazed, lost, and confused in an entirely new world. A world where heroes are celebrities as much as they are saviors. A world where even the mundane citizens can shoot fire or use telepathy. Peter wants no part in it.
