A sapphic slow-burn story. What starts off as Vice President Kamala Harris struggling to maintain secrecy of the skeletons in her closet while holding the second highest political position in the USA, takes a turn when she begins falling in love with a woman who is her head of secret service. Tensions simmer. Kamala's life is put in jeopardy when she becomes the target of a high-stakes kidnapping, forcing her estranged secret lover onto a daring rescue mission before she is human trafficked. Were the words spoken on Election Day morning to Kamala by her wife. Now laying in bed watching Kamala finally sleeping and peacefully at that, she thinks back to the campaign trail journey. This is a fictional narrative set in an entirely imagined universe.
