Shadow has always been a strange kid. Raised by her dad, learned to shoot guns when she was 6- and had zero friends, and then one day, the first day of high school, there's a new girl. She sits by Shadow at lunch, and becomes friends with her. But Shadow is broken, has always been broken. But maybe Winter can fix her. Maybe, just maybe, Winter is her chance at being normal.
