Dawncurl is born into perfection. Her mother always told her that life was a blessing and that she should never take it for granted. However since the birth of she and her brother, she was instantly cast aside by her father who favored her brother and claimed he would be heir to the throne. However, the roles will soon reverse when Dawncurl is discovered to be a skilled strategist and combatant. Not just skilled, but a prodigy. With this information she is finally given the praise she's always craved from her father. Along the journey, she finds out her family isn't so perfect and she will become the victim of it all. As a looming darkness unfolds, Dawncurl will fall under the hold of her father. Adoring his praise, she goes to grave measures to ensure that she keeps it, no matter the consequences; even if it means hurting the cats that she loves most.

BlazeClan is no ordinary clan. If you happen to be a non-royal she-cat, your fate is pretty much sealed, just like Goslingpaw's. Toms are valued much more and are given higher ranks while she-cats that are not royals are thrown to lowly ranks and are always expected to obey the toms' every command. What's more, the narcissistic clan leader, Cougarstar, expects nothing short of perfection. And his two nasty, spoiled children Lichenthorn and Beetlescar treat every single cat like they owe them the world. And Goslingpaw is sick of it all. When a prophecy speaking of a cat of grace and beauty bringing the clan to safety after Roadwalkers start to destroy the forests to build a hotel, the entire clan thinks the cat in the prophecy is her annoying and spoiled sister Swanpaw, but Goslingpaw knows it isn't her. How? Because Goslingpaw is the only one who heard the voices singing to her over the mountains.

How would you feel, if you could only see mouths moving? When someone laughs, to you, they're smiling emptily. When someone talks, you struggle to read their lips. That is just how life is for Goosekit. Born deaf, he is still desires to become a warrior, despite the rest of his Clan doubting him. Along with the challenges he must face that come from being deaf, he must face the ordinary challenges of a warrior - all the while wondering what StarClan has in store for him, and why they would let him live without the gift of hearing. Prophecies are works about journeys and saving clans via StarClan's designated cats. StarClan can't predict everything though, right? Sparkfur is hated by much of her clan. She's much more intelligent than any other cat, she's sassy, and an annoyance. They have half a mind to kick her out, but at the same time, they would never put the deputy's sister in the dangers of being a loner. That's the difference about DrizzleClan and its fellow bordering clans: the rogues are savages that will murder any lone cat in cold blood if they don't join up with the growing Rogue band. So no blunt prophecy from the heavens, but we do have Sparkfur and her tense-relationship with her brother Berryfoot to stop the massacres.
