Nearly two years after the newest member of the team had been welcomed into their lives with open arms, both Marshall and Everest's lives had finally started to take a turn for the better. It wasn't quite the perfect, flawless haven they once knew, but much less of a constant fight for survival. In their eyes, they had the closest thing they could reasonably imagine as a perfect life with their family. Even Audrey was making her way through life, even if it wasn't exactly a walk in the park. From the way she saw everything, the world around her was a confusing place that she had yet to fully learn how to navigate---especially with the cards she had been dealt. The days were a challenge, the weight of her own life held her down on nearly a daily basis. But even then, despite the pain that followed her, she knew that she had everything around her that she could ever need. Almost everything, at least. Life finally seemed like it was going the way that it always should have, even with the handful of road bumps in the way. They all had everything they could dream of, a loving family, support from every end, (even blossoming romance, dare some say). After the scarring events that had taken place over the last few months, Marshall is left as a completely different pup. Both pups, despite everything they have endured, are doing their best to help each other with what will be the biggest mission in their lives... Marshall was seen as one of the happiest and energetic pups in adventure bay, and rightfully so. That was something almost nothing could change. Almost nothing. When the Dalmatian's life was at its best, a horrible event takes place during a mission. While all the pups are mentally hurt, Marshall is left completely broken. Will he ever find happiness again?
