"Everyone has a little bit of evil in them. A sickness that comes out when you're not expecting it. You'd understand that, wouldn't you?" Lauren Webbs is a student at Pacific University in Forest Grove, Oregon. She spends her days going to class, hanging out with her friends, and going for the occasional run. She's happy enough. Normal. Until one of her friends disappears. Lauren and her friends report him missing, but the police have little interest in the case. That is, until he's found a week later by a fisherman, floating in Henry Hagg Lake. Everything implodes. Initially, the police treat it as a crime. A murder. But after weeks of searching and finding nothing, it's ruled a suicide. Lauren doesn't believe it, and neither do the people who really knew him. But there's nothing they can do about a freak accident. But then another person is found dead. People from Lauren and her friends' past are dying, and no one can find anything. Not a murder weapon. No fingerprints. Not even a suspect. Besides Lauren and her friends, of course. Time is running out, and Lauren is beginning to think everyone she loves will disappear. _____________________________________________________________________ All rights reserved.

Kindness can change everything. Even your past. Aurelian farm girl Naima Gentlekind never thinks she was special. As the kindest girl in her village, she always shows up to help someone in need. She couldn't help but wonder if she wasn't born in Aurelia. Her hazy past comes back to haunt her when she learns she is a lost heir to a royal elven bloodline and the same man who killed her parents tracks her down. With the help from a group of legendary warriors and a sun elf prince whom she's been rubbing off her positive influence on, Naima must learn to believe in herself in order to defeat the Great Deceiver of Harmonia and become the princess her parents knew she could be. Perfect for fans of Kelly Barnhill, Soman Chainani, and The Dragon Prince, Madison Ciabattari crafts a breathtaking debut novel about overcoming adversity, belonging, self-discovery, and the life-changing power of kindness.

Hello everyone. This book isn't a fanfiction or an original story, it's a tribute to an amazing person. I'm not exposing anyone, unless you're talking about exposing how awesome they are. You see, my friend had cancer. She took chemo, and while her cancer might've gone away (remember, MIGHT'VE, I'm not exactly sure), her chemo started harming her. I wouldn't say this is a mature book, but let me know if you feel like it is. I simply decided to make this book so that people who know her can write about her. She was amazing, and even though she was still fighting, I decided to make this book. At that time, it wasn't a memorial, but more like a place for people to talk about it. Because she? She deserves all this. And now, it can serve as both. And an inspiration for many other people who face this. And for everyone who didn't know her? Buckle up, cause it's 'bout to get emotional. Oh, and for everyone who did know her? It's okay if you can't express your emotions clearly. You don't have to. But I believe letting it out would be better. And thanks to everyone who's trying to give us some support. We appreciate you.
