"Vehemence" is an original work I've been developing for three years, and only recently have I started writing it in full. The story spans three seasons, each set in a different era of power, with different characters, settings, and tones-but all connected by a continuous narrative and shared events. The story begins in 1987, during the start of Japan's bubble economy. Set in Hokkaido, it follows Higashi Akutsu, a young man who has just graduated from university. His life seems to be falling into place as he prepares, along with his family, to welcome back his long-absent father. But just one day after his return, Higashi's father is suddenly called away for an urgent matter-and that would be the last time Higashi ever sees him. Confused, grieving, and searching for answers, Higashi and his family are summoned by a lawyer to hear the contents of his father's will. While the rest of the family receives traditional inheritances, Higashi is given something unusual, His fathers katana and a job. To take his fathers place as the pillars of a defense group called the ''The Supperior Blades". Will he honor his family name or focus on what he wants to do?
