Oliver never wanted anything more then to have a honest ordinary life. Oliver was a baby of war; little over fourteen years ago around the time he was born. The Dark Hand thought to have been once a legend, was a secret society the waged war on the entire magical realm of Niff, a world that ran parallel to the human world. The Dark Hand attacked without warning and managed to lay waste to one third of the realm. In this moment of darkness brought about the Order, a board of magical creatures to rise up and defeat The Dark Hand. With great cost the the Order won, and for safety reasons the realm was divided into kingdoms. Some creatures thought that it was best to leave Niff all together for the human world for safety. After Oliver's mother was killed in war, his uncle Wu thought it would be best to hide and raise him and his twin older sisters in the Lycan kingdom in disguise. Oliver's family are sorcerers and in order to fit in the Lycan kingdom they play a roll of commoners, for if the Lycans truly knew that sorcerers where living amongst them the punishment could be exile or worse death. As a servant in the Kings castle, a series of fortunate and unfortunate events happen that leads Oliver and a group of misfits on a wild journey in order to keep peace within the realm. During this journey Oliver will find out what he is truly made of and maybe even find love in the process.
