When both Hiccup and Astrid were born, their father's made a promise that when they both reached 25 and were still single and childless, they would marry. Neither one of them want to be in this situation, but to appease their fathers they agree to the marriage. The couple decides that they would keep up the illusion for a year before getting a divorce. Astrid is about to get married, and everything in her life seems to be falling into place. However, when it comes to arranging the paperwork, things get thrown out of order. It turns out that Astrid is already married. To her ex-best friend: Hiccup Haddock. In order to marry her fiance, Astrid must get a divorce from Hiccup. The only problem is that she hasnt spoken to Hiccup in 3 years. And things between them did not end well. Returning to her old hometown, Berk, Astrid is determined to get that annulment, meaning that she has to agree to Hiccups terms before he is willing to sign: to stay in Berk for 3 months as his slave. Can Astrid get the annulment? Or will she even want to?

Hiccup Haddock was only fifteen when Gothi chose him to kill his first dragon in front of everyone. But when the chance came, he couldn't bring himself to do it. So instead of glory, he chose exile... faking his death by leaving behind his clothes and a few Night Fury scales in the cove where he always trained with Toothless, making it seem like he'd been devoured alive... before vanishing without a trace. Meanwhile Astrid Hofferson, was the very image of a Viking warrior, lean and strong born for the battle. Her braid never loosened untill... Hiccup Haddock is disowned and driven from his home for dishonouring the family. Five years later, as the pirate, Captain Fury, he seeks to avenge his betrayal and restore his honour and name-but war is coming to the Archipelago...
