Sesuatu yang dimaksud Luffy ternyata adalah sebuah benda berbentuk bulat berwarna perak atau bisa disebut dengan jam saku, didalamnya ada angka 1 dengan bilangan Romawi yang mengelilingi angka 1 tersebut. Karena rasa penasarannya yang sangat amat besar, Luffy pun memutar jarum yang ada di benda tersebut. Dan, siapa sangka! Bahwa benda tersebut membawa Luffy kembali ke masa lalu atau lebih tepatnya 3 tahun sebelum Luffy berlayar menjadi bajak laut. Yang artinya, Ace saudara laki-lakinya masih hidup!
