Humanity has always wanted to know -
science seeks the cosmos,
religion seeks God,
the wise seek truth.
Yet every search expands into complexity;
expansion widens the distance but doesn't bring understanding.
Truth is neither in scriptures nor in theories.
It is a point - subtle, silent, near.
It cannot be found; it can only be seen.
To search is to hold a question,
and then release it.
The question is the seed,
the answer its sprout -
it unfolds in its own time.
When the effort of "I" ends,
the presence of "That" begins.
Then the search becomes free -
it seeks itself, finds itself.
In questioning, there is surrender.
In searching, there is ego.
When the search is dropped,
the answer descends - pure and effortless.
This is awakening -
where the knower, the known,
and the knowing become one.
