In this story what's left of humanity has spent twenty years surviving in a post-apocalypsetic landscape, this includes a young boy named Y/N Grimes. After the death of his parents he spent his life surviving alone in the world. While Y/N is moving through Chicago he ends up running into a crew known as the Fireflies and the crew's leader named Tommy Miller. The two form a bond and Y/N ends up joining the Fireflies in Chicago. He helps them fight off FEDRA forces in the city, but over time he and Tommy start to see the the flaws of the Fireflies. So, they both leave Chicago and the Fireflies behind. They both end up in Wyoming to find a community known as Jackson, they end up finding it and join the community becoming protectors of Jackson. And they continue to do so until they go on a mission to fix the nearby hydro-electric plant and running into Tommy's brother and a young girl. So, this story will be somewhat based on the games in a sense. You'll see what I mean as the story goes on. Now, I don't own any of the characters I use in this story.
