"The rain ended so long ago...why seek revenge when the sun's out...?"
On Talos-II, progress is built atop ruins that have not yet finished burning. In this place, survival isn't glorious: it is simply necessary.
The frontier exists in a constant state of collapse. Settlements rise faster than they can be defended, and every expansion is answered by the arrival of the Aggeloi.
The Civilization Band stands against this tide of Aggeloi incursions, bound together by unity, but more importantly, by necessity. Among them fights a Sarkaz, an existence already burdened by history and distrust from the time of Terra, now cast onto a battlefield that offers no guarantee of survival.
Some oaths are broken and reforged daily, but even vows mean little against a war that does not end.
Will he endure long enough to see lasting change, or is he just another cog in the endless machine?
Only one way to find out.
