This is basically another Daminette I wrote for fun. Enjoy or don't 🤷 your choice. Marinette, after suffering for so long, finally sees a light at the end of the tunnel. She won a class trip to Gotham and now she finally has a chance to be a normal teen. But who is the emerald-eyed boy who just won't leave her mind? Gotham holds many secrets for the hero of Paris. Will she uncover them all with a side of revenge?

It's Marinette's first day at Gotham Academy and she can already tell things aren't going well. Old memories from the past stalk her and she can barely keep a grip on reality. She finds herself juggling between dreams and memories as well as the cruel truth of reality. A cocoon of loneliness is quick to wrap her in its embraces. Feeling lost and alone, she tries her best to stay positive and stop being anti - social for Adrien. But it's easier said than done. Akumas had a hard hit on her social life, as did Lila Rossi and her old classmates. Knowing she's in the City of her birth father can't soothe her, especially as all she knows about him is his last name is Wayne. A common name, according to her. This is a Maribat fanfiction.
