Katarina was in an orphanage in Gotham City, Her parents had died in an explosion due to her dad playing around with chemicals in his lab and as a result she got her powers. Because of the powers she was shunned by the others. At the age of 6 she was adopted by Selina Kyle aka Catwoman. She unlike the others didn’t shun Katharina for her powers but instead helped her control them. At the age of 8 Katharina became Catwomans partner in crime often stealing and causing trouble. Often switching from good to bad, In the past Katarina would cause trouble for Batman and Robin for fun though she mostly caused trouble for Robin(They had a relationship like Batman and Catwoman had). She learned soon that although she liked the crime life she liked helping others and joined Young Justice.

A new hero is in Gotham, and she's not afraid to show the criminals justice. The Black Swan meets Robin while fighting off crooks. She joins the team, but soon, all villains want her, especially the Joker, for he has two birds to carve now. And quite possibly, Robin and Black Swan may end up more than just friends. Her older sister is (also my cousin) Whisper AKA Avery 'Ace' Castro. Anyways, they took her. And I knew right away I had to do something. My original plan was to wait One Year before doing this. But my time was cut short. And I died. Right. If only everything was that simple. You see, Savage has little birds that fly around for him. And one of those birds came and told Whisper that if she didn't leave the Young Justice team. They would get to her sister again. So she faked her death. And so did I. Catgirl...she went out to find a boy named Jason Todd after she went to a special place to get a grip on her powers. But Whisper and I. We left. Left to train I guess. Get new skills. Find a knew fighting style. Well that's what I did anyway. If I didn't join Savage. He would kill my friends- my family, one by one....The only people who know of my secret, I guess you could call it are, Black Canary, Red Tornado, and Kaldur (also known as Aqualad) Five Years have past. Five whole years. And I am coming back. But not the way you think.
