Assuming she's even capable of feeling. She finds it nothing else but an unefficient disgrace. Unefficient in terms of her 'work', where being an empty, perfect doll is actually an advantage. To the point that she doesn't see a place for herself anywhere other than as a doll-like savior from digression. 𝓑ut what if the curtain blocking her finally rises on its own, opening her eyes to see another porcelain filled with organs and blood? 𝓢𝐇𝐔𝐍𝐓𝐀𝐑Ō 𝓒𝐇𝐈𝐒𝐇𝐈𝐘𝐀 focuses on saving lives, trying to find out if his own is worth saving. Ever since he started college and even as a surgical intern, he hasn't been able to find the answer to his question. He claims that he lives only to show others how empty a human can be. Findings emotions as a weakness, something suited only for pathetic humans-so not someone like him. 𝓑ut what if instead of a beating heart, he meets an empty, maybe non-existent one, just like his? 𝓞ne born to take lives, the other born to save them. A world in which there is no room for morality, nor principles, let alone for judging who is good and who is evil. An absolute rabbit hole, where anything can be an advantage, but also a deadly weakness. 𝓓espite theoretical differences, they see each other as their reflection. The same gaze, the same body language. The same emptiness. 𝓑oth unaware of the meaning of life. Both empty as porcelain dolls sitting on your shelf, covered in old dust. "Il mondo non è solo bianco e nero" E' una bella frase, peccato che da quando mi trovo qui la penso esattamente così: o combatti e sopravvivi, oppure ti arrendi e muori; non ci sono modi di indorare la pillola. E ho continuato a crederlo...fino a quando non l'ho incontrato. N.B. Le ambientazioni e il mood della fan fiction sono fedeli alla serie tv, ho cambiato solo piccoli dettagli per dare un senso alla mia storia (come per esempio l'ordine dei Game e i partecipanti o l'aggiunta di nuovi Game), ma tutti gli eventi della serie succedono anche qui (insomma, per essere chiari, non aspettatevi di vedere risorgere qualcuno dalla morte, ecc). "The world isn't just black and white" That's a nice statement, but since I got stucked here I think exactly that way: either you fight and survive, or you give up and die; there's no way to sugarcoat it. And I kept thinking that way....until I met him. P.N. The setting and the mood of the fan fiction stay true to the tv series, I only changed a few details to give a sense to my story (like the order of the Games and the partecipants or the add of new Games), but all the events that happens in the series happens here as well (so, to be clear, don't hope to see someone come back from the dead, etc). I originally wrote it in italian, that's why it's called English Version :) ENJOY THE READING!
