Lin Zeyu was certain of one thing-
He had died.
The last thing he remembered was blood on concrete and the echo of gunfire. As the former leader of the Black Harbor Syndicate, death was never a surprise. What was a surprise was waking up in a soft bed, wrapped in silk sheets, with a mirror reflecting the face of a beautiful married woman.
Her name was Shen Ruoan.
And her husband was a man she barely spoke to.
Even better-
Their marriage was cold, contractual, and already broken beyond repair.
Her husband, Qin Hancheng, was the infamous CEO of the Qin Consortium-aloof, ruthless, and emotionally unavailable.
On the first day Lin Zeyu woke up in Shen Ruoan's body, the man said coldly,
"Don't involve yourself in my affairs."
Lin Zeyu, now Shen Ruoan, replied calmly,
"Perfect. I was planning to leave."
A loveless marriage. No emotional attachment. No expectations.
Divorce should have been simple.
Or so he thought.
Days passed. Then weeks.
The woman who used to cling desperately to Qin Hancheng disappeared. In her place stood someone composed, sharp-tongued, and terrifyingly confident. She stopped trying to please him, stopped seeking affection, and began planning her escape with surgical precision.
And that was when Qin Hancheng began to notice.
He noticed the way she looked at him-like a stranger.
He noticed she never waited for him anymore.
He noticed he missed her presence.
One night, the man who once wanted nothing to do with her said softly,
"Let's try again... maybe even have children."
Shen Ruoan laughed-cold and detached.
"Don't interfere with my life."
Lin Zeyu had ruled gangs, crushed enemies, and survived betrayal.
There was no way he would be trapped in a marriage-
Much less become a man's wife and give birth to his children.
But Qin Hancheng had already decided.
If she wanted freedom, he would chase.
If she resisted, he would persist.
If she denied loving him-he would bend her heart first.
