When a traveling circus joins a carnival for one night, things go awry. Beneath the striped canvas and flickering torches, jester Lani steps into a performance that isn't on any program - a ring of cracked-smile clowns, skeletal beasts and whispered commands from an unseen ringmaster. The deeper she's drawn into the show, the more the boundaries between act and reality dissolve, until even her fellow performers seem like strangers wearing masks.
