Bridgeton/Pride and Prejudice meets Azriel our beloved Shadowsinger and this author will tell the story of a Prideful noble lady and a spymaster who hates her. Azriel, the battle-worn Shadowsinger of the Night Court, has spent centuries in war and darkness. He has no patience for noble games, no desire for politics. But when Rhysand arranges his marriage to the infamous Jewel of Prythian-an effort to mend ties with the Spring Court and keep Azriel from dangerous affections-he is forced into a world he despises. Liora, daughter of the Dawn and Spring Courts, is everything he is not: a highborn beauty, the perfect courtly lady, untouched by war. To Azriel, she is spoiled, vain, and frivolous. To Seraphine, he is a brute-cold, scarred, and lacking any grace beyond the battlefield. Forced into marriage, they are trapped in a battle of wills, neither willing to bend. But peace in Prythian is fragile, and war is never far. Whispers of old enemies emerging from the shadows threaten the stability of the courts. As political tensions rise, Azriel and Liora find themselves at the center of a deadly game-where their union may be the only thing holding Prythian together. For beneath Liora's silks and diamonds lies a mind as sharp as his blades. And beneath Azriel's shadows and scars is a longing he never dared to name. Enemies by fate. Lovers by scandal. Can a warrior of darkness and a lady of starlight survive the storm ahead-or will their pride and prejudice tear them, and Prythian, apart?

550 pages complete - daily updates coming 7/18 The insinuation didn't make her mad. It didn't comfort her. But it did strike a chord. "My instincts are the only reason I'm alive. They're why those children in Sangravah survived." Azriel descended to the grounds of the river house. "Then perhaps you should listen to them." He set her down gently and the moment she opened her mouth to retort, he cut her off. "I told you I would wait. I meant it." His words rendered her dumbfounded. They were the words of a male devoted. A male who knew her far longer than Azriel had. But she didn't reject them, because her tears over his broken body had been the tears of a female who had lost a part of their soul. A female bound to him. "Shall we?" said Azriel, gesturing up at the river house. And Gwyn nodded, for she knew no words. *cover by lowkeystruggling*

"I thought we were friends, Azriel. I was caught off-guard but you have to know it was forgiven the day it happened." The priestess looked back up to him. His body vibrated from the determination that sparkled in her gaze like the moon reflected in the sea. "It was stupid, Azriel. And unfair to both Elain and myself. But everyone does stupid things." The Illyrian took a cautious step toward her, afraid she would bolt. "We are friends, Gwyn. I'm sorry. You're right, I was an idiot." "We both deserve better. But I know you'll be better." She shrugged. His breathing shallowed when she finally pushed away from the door frame and walked to him, stopping just out of his reach. "I miss you, Azriel." A story of Azriel and Gwyn as they begin to build their lives together, even as darkness - from around them and within - threatens to tear them down.Gwyneth

!! This story is currently in the process of being heavily edited !! [Progress: edited through chapter 2] |A COURT OF THORNS AND ROSES| Perhaps it was her own fault that the people around her always ended up hurt. Perhaps she had done something, stumbled upon some curse that doomed everything she cared about to be touched by the flame. ~ Soraya Beddor was supposed to die alongside her family the night their house was burned to the ground. To the rest of the world, she was but another body that hadn't been found among the ashes. Maybe a piece of her did die that night. Because now all she wants is to hurt the people who hurt her. To find Feyre Archeron and the faeries that sentenced she and her family to death, and make them feel every bit of her pain.

For everyone who is sick of waiting for Sarah J Maas to finally release Azriel's story. And everyone who doesn't want him to end up with Gwyn or Elaine. Here is my version of his love story that takes place right at the end of the original A Court of Thorns and Roses. Amarantha's daughter, Marlie, just got out from Under the Mountain where she got trapped for 50 years, just for trying to confront her mother. When Feyre, Cursebreaker, manages the trials and frees everyone, Marlie somehow finds herself winnowed into Velaris, Rhysands other Court. There, she raises the attention of the High Lord and the inner circle for entering through the warding. Especially Azriel's attention. (I wrote this story nearly three years ago, so it's not my greatest work, but I wanted to share it so you can have my take on Azriel's story before Sarah J. Maas actually publishes hers) *Excluding some original characters, all characters and places belong to Sarah J. Maas*

Gwyn and Azriel's journey right after the events of ACOSF. Offered a position within the Inner circle, Gwyn is now assigned her first mission, with the infamous, shadow-singer. This is a story that will be written truly from my heart. Gwyn captured me in a way that is indescribable. Her story is worth telling and I will try to write it with full awareness. If you are a reader, and feel that I am not tackling her mental health in the proper manner, please feel free to send me a message.
