Wonwoo is a high-end, cynical fashion photographer known for his "cold" aesthetic and refusal to sugarcoat his work. When he is hired as the personal photographer for Mingyu-a world-famous idol transitioning into a high-stakes modeling career-the two clash instantly. Wonwoo views Mingyu as a shallow "pretty boy" who relies on practiced idol smiles, while Mingyu finds Wonwoo's brooding, perfectionist attitude pretentious and unnecessarily harsh. Their rivalry plays out behind the scenes of glamorous sets and international tours. Wonwoo constantly pushes Mingyu to "be real," refusing to take a single photo until Mingyu drops his polished celebrity persona. Mingyu, frustrated by Wonwoo's lack of praise, makes it his mission to break Wonwoo's composure, purposely invading his personal space and challenging his creative direction during shoots.
