Summary: After helping Crysta save Jafar's staff, Sofia returns home to find out her mother locked herself in her room and refuses for anyone to come in. Sofia is scared by her mothers behavior, until she realizes the reason why. She remembered that day like it was yesterday. The day her mother was left to raise her daughter alone, and why she had to take over the shoe shop.

Two years after Moana returns to Motunui, her life seems to have gone back to what it was before Te Fiti. Chiefly duties outweigh the calling of the sea, Maui has been gone for what seems like ages, and Moana's unhappiness returns, but is now self inflicted. However, destiny has big plans for its 'Little Ocean'. After swallowing one of Auahitūroa's (God of Comets) stars by accident, Tangaroa (God of the Sea) gives his heart to the Ocean so it will be protected from Auahitūroa's wrath. Somehow (but not really a mystery) Moana comes across the heart on the shores of Motunui. It unfortunately comes with a few consequences, including a new relationship with the water, conscious tattoos which come from nowhere and Moana's new status as a Demigoddess of the Great Ocean, and half-daughter of Tangaroa. What could possibly go wrong?
