He should hate her...much more than he hates Sorrengail. But something about her was fascinating. Artemis Melgren is everything Xaden Riorson isn't - soft, gentle and kind. But her past has made her lethal. Her father makes her a threat. And yet...he can't seem to stay away. Especially after watching her all but sprint back onto the parapet in order to save her best friend. Xaden Riorson x OC Highest Ranking: #1 in Romantasy All characters and settings belong to Rebecca Yarros, apart from my OC.

Elara Sorrengail has always been the rebellion's favorite sunshine girl. Born Tyrrish, raised between Aretia and the Navarre, she grew up with three dangerous boys at her side-Bodhi Durran, Garrick Tavis, and Xaden Riorson. One of the was her best friend. Two of them became her lovers. One of them graduated and became her secret husband. But when the rebellion fell, Elara was torn away from them all. Now she's back at Basgiath, marked, deadly, and done hiding. Her arrival sparks a storm: -Xaden is the Wing Leader who can't afford to break. -Garrick is the second-in-command who still bleeds for her. -Bodhi, her best friend, and chaotic other half. -Violet, her cousin, bonds the dragon whose mate belongs to Xaden... which means Elara's husband has to protect Violet to protect the dragons. (Yeah. Awkward is an understatement.) But Elara didn't come to Basgiath to play nice. She came to reclaim her men, survive the parapet, and earn her place in the Riders Quadrant-not as a Sorrengail, but as a Riorson. And when her signet awakens? It's stronger than anyone expected. Stronger than Violet. Stronger than Xaden. Stronger than Basgiath is ready for. Powerful enough to expose secrets...and destroy anyone who threatens the people she loves. War is coming. Dragons are choosing sides.

The story of Elowyn Tauri, the Navarrian Witch GarrickTavis x OC *Disclaimer: I own nothing apart from the characters I have created for the story's sake. Also, I have not published anything in a very long time. I've written ideas down here or there, but they are almost always scrapped due to my crazy imagination. Depending on my motivation, I'll try to update weekly, sometimes even multiple times a week. I've been writing pretty much non stop because I can't stop thinking about this story line. Thank you for reading :) All images created by an AI unless otherwise stated

Auren Riorson never expected to survive her first year at Basgiath War College-not like this. Not with the memory of Liam's death carved into her bones. Not with a signet that grows more volatile by the day. Not with the truth about her family's murder and the fables of dark wielders and wyvern proving to be terrifyingly real. Now, the real tests begin. Second year at Basgiath is more brutal than the first, filled with survival trials designed to break riders from the inside out. But it isn't just the enemy outside the wards she has to fear. With her dragon Mal newly mated to a dragon-Auren finds herself tethered, however unwillingly, to the one rider she vowed never to trust. And with Navarre's lies unraveling, every secret threatens to destroy her before the venin ever can. The world is burning. Wardstones are failing. And the dark wielders aren't just stories whispered in the archives-they're coming. To survive, Auren must decide who is truly worth her trust, even as betrayals cut closer to home than she ever imagined. Determination won't be enough this time. Because in a world where dragons choose their riders, and dragons themselves carry dangerous secrets, Auren will have to prove that her iron will is strong enough to save them all- -or risk losing everything she holds dear to the flames.

Auren Riorson has always walked a fine line-between shadow and steel, between survival and something more. Trained as a Rider, secretly drawn to healing, and bonded with a dangerous bloodwielding power, she can control blood itself-either to save or to destroy. Stepping into Basgiath War College, Auren finds herself back in the chaos: brutal training, cutthroat politics, and dragons circling overhead, their roars shaking the stone halls. With her loyal best friend Liam by her side and her older brother Xaden looming over every move, she has to keep her wits sharp. Because in this world, one wrong step could mean death-or worse. But graduating the war college isn't the only danger. Venin hunters, wyverns with razor-sharp teeth, and enemies hiding in plain sight are closing in. And as the stakes rise, Auren will have to face her family's deadly past, master the terrifying power she was bound with, and figure out if loyalty and love are worth the risk when everything could be ripped away in a heartbeat. ------------ if you haven't already read the Fourth Wing series... like, what are you even doing with your life?? 😂 go give rebecca yarros all the love because it's honestly one of the best series i've ever read. this fic is obviously inspired by her world, but for me it's turned into a story about love, friendship, found family, and especially the bond between siblings. a lot of it follows the storyline from fourth wing / iron flame / onyx storm, but i've changed up some of the characters, a few signets, and since onyx storm just came out-anything beyond that is just my own theories and imagination making it my own thing. and hey, if it's not your vibe... totally fine. don't read it, I'm sure there are sooo many other good ones out there! 🖤 and nooo i'm not telling you who Auren's romance arc is-you'll just have to keep guessing 👀

He loved Violet Sorrengail. But when he meets Aria Hale ... a Dragonblood with impossible power and a pull he can't explain ... everything shifts. She's his mentor. She's forbidden. And if he's not careful... she'll be his downfall. Born a Dragon Blood - Aria Hale is a rare and legendary descendant of ancient dragon riders whose magic flows deeper than human blood - she stands apart from every cadet, rider, and even wingleader at Basgiath War College. Her connection to dragons isn't merely a bond; it's a living force coursing through her veins. Gifted with three signets instead of one, she has so far awakened two: the power to forge unbreakable mind-to-mind bonds with anyone she chooses, and the ability to heal others, though never herself. Her third signet remains an enigma, a dormant power waiting to be claimed. When Xaden Riorson transfers to her post after graduating, she is assigned a usual task: to train him. Her approach is firm yet kind, her presence commanding but gentle - a stark contrast to the cold rivalries that define Basgiath. As she pushes Xaden to sharpen his speed, master his own signet, and survive the brutal games riders face, he can't help but notice the strength and warmth she carries. Separated from Violet Sorrengail, the love of his life, Xaden finds himself drawn to her in ways he never expected - intrigued by the mystery of the Dragon Blood, and challenged by the quiet power she wields. But beyond personal desires, Xaden also sees her as a key player in the Venin Revolution efforts - a powerful asset whose unique gifts could tip the scales in a war that will decide the fate of kingdoms. #1 in Tairn When the Great War begins, dragons want nothing to do with mortals. Navarre is losing against the Venin. Magic burns the battlefields. Provinces fall. And Seris Riorson? She's locked in a tower like a precious jewel no one is allowed to touch. The youngest of her family, adored but smothered, Seris was trained to fight, yet forbidden to ever set foot near danger. Especially not the Tyrrish nesting grounds, where one mistake might start a second war. But curiosity has always been her ruin. What begins as a stolen escape into the forest becomes an ambush at the border. Venin see her. They recognize the Duke's daughter. And they want her. And a poison-tipped blade doesn't care how brave she is. As darkness claims her, Amelia sees the last thing she ever expected: a massive black dragon, eyes like molten gold, watching her fall. Tairn does not save humans. Tairn does not choose humans. Tairn does not transform into a man for anyone. Until her. #1 in Tairn #1 in Empyrean

Book One ~ Most cadets lose their lives during their first year. Fifteen Percent of those lost it on the parapet. Another seventy-five percent would never make it to their graduation. Those were the statistics that had stuck in Kyna's mind through her first year. It was those statistics that held her back from watching the cadets, her cadets, crossing the parapet the following year. Xaden Riorson x fem!OC male!OC x Violet Sorrengail
