Nico tried to flatten his rapidly curling hair in the heat. Perks of living in California, he guessed. The walk to the beach was short, and he knew the way even though he almost never went. Hazel walked beside him, her hands in the pockets of her bathing suit cover up, and she smiled softly. Will wiped beads sweat off his forehead. He had reduced his clothing to a tank top and shorts, but even so it was hot, which was rare for him. Perks of living in California, he guessed. The sand beneath his flip flops shifted with every step and the waves looked cool and inviting. He looked up and saw someone.

Soulmates: the interest of our generation. We live and breath for them, walk and talk about them. It's so exciting finding yours- that moment when the blacks, whites and greys burst into color and you can see them for the first time in a real light. Of course, that part doesn't come until you fall in love with your soulmate. That's the part Nico has trouble with. His one soulmate was the only person who he rivaled against. And Will? He was falling for his competition.

Black as night, his hair. Deep eyes, dusted cocoa. Narrowed, concentrated. His hands, frail, holding the pencil precisely. His walls, up, his head, down. Nico. His hair, yellow as the sun. His eyes held the sky. His hands, holding nothing but his heart, his mind, open. Will.

"The vocalist was so full of energy that it was impossible to look away. At least, that's the thought that went through the head of the blond boy wiping down tables at the back of the venue." Solangelo Highschool AU - Will Solace and Nico di Angelo are in rival bands, and they're set to compete against each other in three weeks. Nico tries to hate Will, but after two of them are paired together to work on an English project, Will manages to break through his shell. As they start to develop feelings for each other, they have to navigate through high school drama, parties, coming out, fights, and blackmail from a mysterious user on the school gossip website. This fic is basically what you'd get if Lemonade Mouth and Love, Simon had a baby. It's the first story I've ever written, I hope you enjoy it!

Percy finds out about Nico's crush earlier than planned. And it's on neither of their terms. Until Percy gives him some good advice. Advice Nico takes to heart. But a demigod's life is never easy, and with a new prophecy and a new quest even darker forces are looming over the horizon, threatening to destroy the sunshine that Nico and another half-blood we all thought was gone have finally found. Placed during very beginning of Blood of Olympus/ between House of Hades and Blood of Olympus at the beginning. Then it switches to the end of Blood of Olympus. This is a solangelo story line. If you have not read Blood of Olympus, or do not ship solangelo, then I kindly ask you to reconsider your life choices. And then go do those things. I tried to stay true to the characters, I really truly did. If you're reading and you think I did something wrong, please let me know (but. you know. kindly.).
