It sent shivers up my spine, and it wasn't good shivers it was creepy and uncomfortable ones. "Nothing that concerns you." I hissed in annoyance. They chuckled. "Feisty little thing you are." He said I was getting pissed off. I went to yell at him to leave me alone but I heard a gentle, yet rough and powerful voice say. "She's with me." That's all they said and I already who it was. It was my mate.

"Mikayla come down here please?" I heard my mom say, I made my way downstairs. "Yes ma?" I said I looked up from fixing my shirt and saw a man standing next to my mom. He looks super familiar..I remember him from a picture my mom showed me. "Mikayla this is Chris..your father..." My mom said noticing how I was staring at him. "Woah woah what? You said my dad was dead!" I said shocked and outraged Mikayla "Edwards" is 16, she's never seen her dad before. No pictures are found, no numbers are traced.
