"It is your choice," he said, stepping so close to me that our lips were almost touching. "Either do what I say - or get another job." My heart stood still as I gazed up into his deep, dark, dangerous eyes... In a world where women's only role in life is to sit at home and look pretty, Lilly is determined to fight for her freedom. There's only one problem: a powerful man blocking her way.

Well this is just a little short series that I decided to write and well it's set up like the steps of getting a girl to fall in love with you. Each chapter stars Zack Fair as he tries to get the reader to fall in love with him :)

Every girl is wondering about two things: 1. What do I want to do with my life? 2. What kind of person do I want to marry? So I traveled around the world looking for answers. Five men, three continents, one prophecy... And an appearance on Chinese reality TV. I thought fairy tales only existed in leather-bound books... Until the phone rang... This is a true story.

Life hasn't exactly been the kindest to you. Of course, that takes a toll on your outlook on life and makes you absolutely hate it. It's not really fair since you never did anything wrong, but hey, people are people. That's when Zack comes along. Of course, he's got his own share of problems, but you never imagined he'd be just like you. Editing this story to make it less cringe-worthy and so the overall story flows better. Also let it be known I wrote this as an angsty 14 year old. •A Zack Fair x Reader fanfic•

[Zeus x Hera] (Note: Rake is an old term for player) For thousands of years, the Queen of the Gods has put up with her philandering, arrogant, conceited and uncaring husband. She became known as a jealous and vindictive queen. But turning your husband's mistresses into a cow was justified, right? But what happens when she reaches the end of her rope? Hera, the Queen of the Gods who also happens to be the Goddess of Marriage decides that she's had enough. She leaves Zeus and all of Olympus behind so that she could go to the Mortal Realm and experience a different kind of life. She reinvents herself and finally gets to do the things she longed to do. Finally, she was free! But as they say: you don't realize what you have until it is gone. Zeus, the King of the Gods, wants Hera back in his life. This time, he decides to turn all his charms to wooing his wife and gaining her back. But will Hera be his wife and queen again? Will she be able to change the set ways of the King of the Gods and reform the rake in him? ***Credits to @DarkLeague for the cover***

"I've come to offer you something no one else can." The accident took away my legs. Paralyzed me from waist down for the rest of my miserable existence. It happened instantly, the doctors said. The moment his car smashed into mine my lower spine was done for. Ripped to shreds. They said I was lucky they didn't have to amputate. This is being lucky? "Give me permission to help you. To change your life. Technology has come a long way. You would be amazed at the things I can do." It wasn't fair. The other driver chose to drink until his vision was blurry. He chose to get behind the wheel and drive under the influence and over the speed limit. Why was I punished? Why did he get to walk away with only a concussion while my life was shot to hell? It wasn't fair. "You sign that dotted line there and I swear to you that you will walk again. In fact, you'll do more than just walk." My life had just started, I had just turned 22. I needed my legs back. I needed to get out of this damned chair. "Thank you. Thank you for this chance. You won't regret this, [Name], I promise."

"Through the Looking-Glass, and What Alice Found There" is the sequel to Alice's Adventures in Wonderland. The themes and settings of Through the Looking-Glass make it a kind of mirror image of Wonderland: the first book begins outdoors, in the warm month of May (4 May), uses frequent changes in size as a plot device, and draws on the imagery of playing cards; the second opens indoors on a snowy, wintry night exactly six months later, on 4 November (the day before Guy Fawkes Night), uses frequent changes in time and spatial directions as a plot device, and draws on the imagery of chess.
