He has no friends, sits alone at lunch, and refuses to talk to anyone. He's depressed. He's lonely. He's insecure. His life changes when he meets the stubborn yet charming Will Solace. Will is optimistic, outgoing, and happy. Will is everything Nico's not. Will and Nico end up developing an unlikely friendship, that starts to blossom into something more. Meanwhile, his sister, Hazel, tries to help him get back on his feet. She introduces him to her quirky group of friends in hopes that he will make friends. At first, Nico is very reluctant. Hazel's friends are very different from him. And things don't improve when he starts to develop feelings for Percy Jackson, a handsome and charming boy that half the school idolizes. But, he soon warms up to this bunch and things improve. With a new set of friends and Will at his side, Nico feels unstoppable. Nico di Angelo had been shunned by his father, King Hades, for two years after he came out and told him he's gay. Since then, the young boy lived two years as a normal commoner, lying to others about others about whom he really is and where's he's been. Will Solace, son of King Apollo, has live a normal life in the Sun Palace with loving and supporting family. He's never had to worry too much about what his parents thought of him. Two years after Nico was rejected by his father, his older sister, Bianca, comes to him with news. She is getting married to Prince Will Solace and he's been invited back to his home palace to meet his soon to be brother in law. Nico agrees, for the sake of his sisters, to come home. Nico's more than a little broken. He feels as though he's a liability to everyone around him. He feels hated and unwanted and he desperately wants and needs someone to save him. Will is busy helping in the infirmary but a part of him still is focused on a certain pale skinny boy who he wants to save. The problem is he doesn't know how. Then the both of them share a flashback together and it changes their dynamic. Will suddenly realises how serious Nico's mental health issues are and it scares him. Nico desperately wants to run away because he refuses to let the adorable bright ball of sunshine be tainted by his darkness What happens when Will realises that behind Nico's harsh darkness there's a soft boy who can be happy and funny? And what happens when Nico realises Will may be a sunshine but even the Sun can't always be bright and happy? Oh and not to mention the growing crush the boys have on each other. Nico di Angelo has always been a bit of a loner when it comes to the demigod camps, so he didn't expect much of a difference when he decided to stay at Camp Half-Blood. Which is fine! It just made it that much easier to keep hidden the secret residing under his sleeves. Will Solace is a down-to-Earth healer with a lot more darkness than he lets on. He's determined to help anyone he can who needs it. This includes the dense (yet admittedly cute) son of Hades, who might even be more stubborn than Will. After a nail-biting battle against the Earth Mother herself, these boys find themselves in the infirmary together for a promised three days. While they're certainly different at first glance, soon enough, they find themselves more similar than believable. As their relationship blossoms into something more, Nico gets a premonition of something coming, worthy of breaking the two apart. Will they be able to fight their apparent fate? Will Solace lived in a world where everyone had a soulmate, if you didn't, you were banned from the city because you were different. That wasn't allowed. So Will had to keep his biological gender a secret because if anyone found he wasn't biologically a male he would be banned from the city. And thrown out to the Ashlands. Because of this since the soulmates were always male and female. Will prayed he never met his. Though that all changed when the city let in some refugees who had been approved to enter and he met a black haired boy who changed... Everything.

William is forced to live with his homophobic/transphobic grandparents after his family died in a car accident and him being the only survivor. They force him to transition back to Willow, making him wear "girly clothes" and making him grow his hair long. When they see an opportunity to get rid of their "unnormal granddaughter," they take it and send him away to Half-Blood-High boarding school in Long Island, NY. As the new student, some take the opportunity to bully the newbie. Until a mysterious guy saves him. Can this guy help Will find his light again? Nico di Angelo- The child of Hades. He was a depressed ball of rage wherever he went. He preferred spending his time in his cabin, alone. He would often forget to take care of himself such as go outside to eat. Nobody would ever like him. Or so he thought... Will Solace- The child of Apollo. Basically a dream. He lifted everyone's spirit as soon as he walked through the door. He literally glowed when he was happy, which was most of the time. He was the best healer out of the whole camp. Come on, who wouldn't have the hots for a smart, hot, teen doctor? So out of all the people he could've found interesting, why Nico? That's what the child of Hades is trying to figure out while he's oblivious to the complete obvious. Might Will actually have a chance to break down Nico's walls and find the key to his heart?
