Cold metal pressed against his body. He tried to move and the chains rubbed unpleasantly against his hands. A grinding sound reached his ear. He backed away slowly. A cold shiver ran down his spine and a feeling of disgust, which arose as soon as he felt anything like fear, poisoned his guts. He stared into the darkness, trying to make out anyone or anything there. And on closer inspection, was there a shadow just peeling out of the darker part of the far corner? He asked himself and naked fear flashed through his body. Slowly, Hiccup recognised the outline of a muscular man. He backed further away and swallowed. The figure was wrapped in a long cloak. The hood hung low over his face. Hiccup could barely make out the outline of the face. The phantom drew its sword, decorated with drops of blood, which gleamed dully in the sparse light, and pointed it menacingly at Hiccup. This is the English Version of my german Story Splitter.
