'I'm all alone,' she thought, and listened to the footsteps coming down the hall. She knew who it was and what he wanted. But she wouldn't willingly corporate. "Have you decided to contact Batsy and Bird Boy yet?" The familiar green hair and pale skin came into her view. She didn't say anything, just stared at the floor. "Now baby bat," Joker laughed out, "we want Daddy Bats to come play don't we? And I need you to let him know where you are for that to happen." "No." Came the brusk reply. "I won't do it." The clown prince chuckled and brought a knife to her cheek while he growled, "if you don't call Daddy, I might have to go get the baby bird." She looked up and spit in his face. Joker grinned, and she became scared. "If that's how you want to play," he whispered, "then that's how it'll go." Denver Wayne winced under her Batgirl uniform as the knife entered her stomach. "Daddy and Robbie won't be able to save you." And then it was dark. ~Mostly Batman w/Young Justice fanfic
