Inside the cold, sterile walls of St. Dymphna Psychiatric Hospital, one patient stands out-Yang Jungwon, a quiet but peculiar young man with a fondness for bananas and warm milk. His routine is simple, predictable... and always includes the gentle smile of Nurse Jay Park, the only person who treats him like he's more than a diagnosis.
To the staff, Jungwon is harmless-a little too attached, perhaps, but ultimately manageable. But behind Jungwon's soft-spoken demeanor and boyish smile hides something darker. What began as an innocent crush on Jay slowly curdles into something else entirely-an obsession as sweet and rotting as overripe fruit. He begins hoarding the empty milk cartons Jay touches, memorizing the scent of his cologne, listening outside the staff room at night.
As Jay continues to care for him, oblivious to the growing danger, Jungwon's fantasies deepen. When Jay starts mentioning plans of transferring hospitals, something inside Jungwon snaps. No one gets to leave him. No one.
