You would think there is no such thing as evil creatures, that all monsters are human. You would think that even if there was a hell full of demons that would mean there's also a heaven full of angels and they would fight for us. Surely if there was a God, almighty as he was, he wouldn't allow the innocents of the earth to be harmed by his inferior foes right? WRONG! Once a year the spawns of hell are allowed to steal innocent mortals (ones whose souls aren't meant for damnation) in a day known as The Reaping. Humans are of course unaware Of this, and so when 17 year old Naomi is kidnapped on her way home from her friends house one evening by creatures she hadn't even believed to exist and taken to what seems to be a human auction, it rises some questions in her. Most of them being about her mysterious devilishly handsome bidder. 'Oh god this is it, this is where I'm going to die. Ended and discarded at the hands of some THING that sees me more as a product than an actual living, breathing, person. What did I ever do to deserve this?'
