His dad left when he was 13, and his mother died when he was 12. So little izuku is living alone. He was diagnosed quirkless as a child, which meant he was bullied and cast aside. He gave up his dream on becoming a hero, after all might told him it was impossible to be a hero without a quirk. But now, izuku has a new dream.
