Completed • First Draft - not edited. || "You gonna sit there all night?" Luka glances at me, smirking. I glare back. "I was enjoying the last few seconds of peace before having to spend an evening pretending to like you." "That's funny," he says, unbuckling his seatbelt. "Why?" I snap. "Because I was thinking the same thing." || The rules? Easy enough. 1. Pretend to be the perfect couple. 2. Keep it professional. 3. And whatever you do, don't. catch. feelings. Simple, right? Sofia Calloway never planned on going viral for throwing a drink in Luka Mikhaylov's face. But one video, one pissed-off hockey star, and one furious university later... she's suddenly stuck in a fake relationship with the guy she can't stand. He needs to clean up his image before the NHL draft. She needs the free tuition that comes with the deal. All they have to do is smile for the cameras, hold hands at the games, and act like they don't want to strangle each other. Then come the late-night arguments that last too long. The stolen glances that feel too dangerous. The moment where "pretend" starts looking way too real. Because when you break the rules, someone's bound to lose. And this time, it might be both of them.

When photography student, Willow Kennedy, gets offered an internship with her college's renowned ice hockey team, The Michigan Wolverines, she anticipates three things: 1) Her twin brother being an unbearable and over-protective nightmare. 2) Her photographs not making any real impact whatsoever. 3) The team completely shutting out the curly-haired girl pointing a camera in their faces. What Willow didn't take into account, however, was the Wolverine's team captain. Rumoured NHL first draft pick, dreamboat and total game changer- Tate Wilder. With his infectious dimpled smile, sparkling green eyes and addictive personality, Tate quickly turns Willow's internship into a life-changing and eye-opening experience- one filled with love, friendship and opportunities. Willow didn't meet the Michigan Wolverines looking for love, and funnily enough neither did Tate, but love soon found them. ********* "Pretty please?" Her lip juts out in an irresistible pout and you'd almost think she was a sweet innocent flower judging by the puppy dog eyes she's flashing me. But that image is little tarnished by the hand she has dipped into my boxers. I can feel my Adams apple bob as I reply. "O-okay. Fine, you win this time." The smile I get in response is absolutely blinding. A full, mega-watt grin with teeth, crinkled eyes and blush on the apples of her cheek. I'll let her win everything if I get that fucking smile in return.

WATTY AWARD WINNER Completed • First Draft - not edited. A Good Girl's Guide To Being Naughty • • • Ivy Collins is a normal 21 y/o woman. Except for the fact she's a virgin ... or at least she was until she had sex with her university rivals hockey captain. After a quick (devastatingly quick) night with the man and being called a lousy lay, Ivy made a promise to herself that she wouldn't do it again ... sex that is. Who needs sex when all it brought was insecurities and more, and it wasn't even that good to begin with. Enter Asher Hudson, Ice Hockey captain, her brothers best friend and her best friends brother - triple trifecta of why she shouldn't get involved with him. But when he overhears a conversation Ivy has with her best friend, he gives her an offer she can't refuse. Well, she can, and she should, but why would she want to? Three months, she helps him with his grades, and he'll help her with her sex life. Only one rule, don't fall in love. Easy, right? He'll teach her everything she wants to know, and show her that sex can be fun, you just have to know how to do it right. And Ivy should refuse, after all he's the Ice Hockey captain, her brother's best friend and her best friend's brother - but what's the fun in that. Ivy knows she should say no, but she won't. And she won't fall in love, she can't.
