Nethra × Aadhav
The corridor outside the library was unusually quiet, soaked in golden afternoon silence. Nethra walked slowly, a book clutched to her chest, lost in her own soft thoughts.
And then-
A sudden hand.
A gasp muffled.
An arm snaked around her waist, pulling her back, silencing her with a palm against her lips.
Before she could scream, she was dragged into an empty classroom and slammed gently against the wall. Her book fell to the floor with a soft thud.
Her eyes widened in panic - until she saw him.
Aadhav.
Her lips moved, mouthing his name in silence. A name that never left her throat.
But before she could say anything more, her palm met his cheek with a sharp crack. His head turned from the impact, but his eyes burned darker when they met hers again.
He stepped closer.
And without a word-he kissed her. Fiercely. Desperately. Like she was the war he'd already lost.
She shoved him back with all her might and slapped him again. This time, harder. Her breath was ragged with rage and shock.
But Aadhav only smiled.
His fingers wrapped around her throat-not choking, but firm enough to freeze her.
"I warned you," he whispered against her lips.
And he kissed her again, even harder.
She bit his lip to break free-tasting blood and defiance. He flinched, but didn't stop.
As she raised her hand for a third slap, his grip caught her wrist mid-air.
"If you slap me again," he growled, his voice rough and low, "I'll kiss you again."
Nethra yanked her hand free, her chest heaving with fury and something she couldn't name. She turned and stormed out, leaving the door swinging behind her.
Aadhav stood still, wiping the blood from his lip. His eyes didn't leave her retreating figure.
"She still feels it," he whispered to himself. "She still burns."
