The rain hammered against the windows, drowning the city in darkness. Yoon Y/n sat in her dimly lit studio, brush in hand, finishing yet another portrait of him ''Lee Sanghyeok''. The world's most wanted criminal. The man whose mugshot had once flashed across her TV and stolen her breath. She painted his sharp jawline, the ink curling from his neck to his collarbone, those dark-brown eyes that looked more tragic than cruel.
"Everyone sees the villain's sins, but no one sees the reasons behind them," her museum exhibit read. And tonight, as thunder cracked outside, she wondered if anyone would ever understand her obsession.
Then, the news flashed across the screen-"LEE SANGHYEOK ESCAPES MAXIMUM SECURITY PRISON." Her heart skipped.
A sudden crash upstairs jolted her. She grabbed a small lamp for courage and stepped into her room. Before she could react, a hand slammed over her mouth, her back pinned against the wall. Her lamp fell and shattered.
And there he was. Rain dripping from his hair, his breath warm against her ear, eyes just as dark and devastating as she'd painted them. "Yoon Y/n," he murmured, voice low and dangerous. "You've been painting me."
