Enjolras has always been annoyed by her presence, but never denied her entrance to the back room, partially because feared angering the boys and Madame Hucheloup who all seemed to adore this simple girl, but also because he always found himself unable to utter a reasonable sounding world in a conversation with her. With the impending revolution, the leader of Les Amis de l'ABC has no time to think about the irrelevant girl. Courfeyrac, their best friend. The centre of the group.
