Kennedy and her siblings have always dreamed of living in the countryside, and one day, that dream finally comes true. Ever since Kennedy was five years old, she's wanted to learn to ride, become a horse gentler, and be a pro cattle cutter. But in their small city house with less than an acre of land, there was never enough space for a horse. When her parents announce they're moving to a fifty-five-acre property in the country, Kennedy and her siblings can hardly believe it. The moment they arrive, Kennedy discovers two horses waiting in the paddock a surprise birthday gift she never expected. With her first riding lesson at Riding Academy, Kennedy meets Ari, a girl who shares her passion for horses and cattle cutting. Together, they navigate the adventures and challenges of country life.

"Oh. Milady Ashton, are you going to the ball for King Peter." The young centaur shyly asked Ashton. Ashton crouched down next to her, meeting her eye level with a friendly smile, "I'm afraid I don't know what you mean, little one." "You know... The ball thing... Mommy told me it was the King's opportunity to woo a lady of Narnia." She explains with her limited vocabulary and a small lisp. "A courting ball?" Ben asks the little one. "That's it!" She exclaims, "Are you going?" "I guess we will see, we haven't been back to the castle since the war," Ashton tells the five-year-old, sugarcoating her response to avoid disappointing the child. "Ohh." She nodded before leaning down to Ash to whisper in her ear, "My father told me stories from the war, of course not the stories with too much fighting, but he mentioned the greatness of the prophesied. You were always my favorite." She giggles. Ash didn't know what to say as the little centaur bounced away. She stood from the party, needing a minute outside. Edmund followed her after her, wanting to help his dear friend with the news. "Ash, I'm sure there's an explanation." "Yes, a simple one Ed. I left. Your brother owes me nothing. It is his choice. If he wants every spoiled, perfect, primitive, self-centered princess within a hundred miles lining up at his feet. That is his choice and does not concern me." Ashton admits, more negatively than she intended. "This is not going to end well." Ben comments, openly. ╣╠ Ashton returns to Cair Paravel and it is clear that in the two years she spent away, much has changed. ╣╠ Multiple POV ╣╠ Story intertwined with the golden ages after The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe by C. S. Lewis. I only own Ashton, Benvolio, and any other characters not in the books or movies. ╣╠

Four rebels. One crash. And a grace they never deserved. Bella, Eddie, Evan, and Zara were done with being told how to live. Church was a joke. Faith was pointless. All they wanted was freedom-music, parties, late nights, and the dream of getting as far away from their families as possible. Their parents begged them to stay on the right path. They didn't listen. One night changed everything. Screeching tires. Shattered glass. Sirens. Silence. The crash should have taken at least one of them. Maybe two. The paramedics couldn't explain it. The doctors called it luck. But deep down, they all knew-it was something more. Now, as they face the wreckage of their lives-inside and out-they begin to ask the questions they've always avoided. Why are we still here? What were we saved for? And could it be... that the God they ran from is the one who saved them? What if God has something more for them to do-something that could change everything?
