When the death of her father forces her to survive with this group, she reluctantly begins to make connections with these people, amongst them Daryl Dixon. Gemma and Daryl are polar opposites and seem to be everything the other hates. But will the current situation of the world draw them together and help them see past their differences? Daryl finds a girl while out on a run, completely alone, and traumatized. She doesn't speak, she hardly sleeps, but Daryl can tell she's tough. Daryl decides to bring her home, and she's attached at his hip. Daryl becomes protective of her and warns anyone that messes with her will wish they didn't. (So this is a lighter story than what I usually right, everyone will have a little humor, it's what happens when Hazel hangs out with people, they feel vulnerable, and share everything with her.
