Charlotte just moved and transfered to the school that Mia, Reese, and Autumn attend. I'm trying to make this as heavily based on canon as I can. this takes place the start of the year just after prom when all the drama happened and now Reese is dating Mia and him and aut aren't talking. I'll try to bring the rest of the nursery into the story some how but it may take a few chapters to figure out how.
