There was once a man, he roamed the endless alleyways. Slashed, collected, and played games to win. He came upon a certain person who was interesting and took cast upon finding him. Such high debts and yet still living. The game was yet to begin.

In the City of Wagered Fates, nothing is given-everything is gambled. From meals to memories, every choice is decided by chance, and the stakes can cost more than money. A gambler who carries too much luck for his own good crosses paths with a Mafia which collects debts. Together, they navigate a neon-soaked world where fortune is power, debts are chains, and every bet can cost your life. a/n: This is like the first time ever trying out a different writing style, This book is rarely gonna get any updates I fear 😭

Chance is a gambling addict who spends most of their time at the casino, When he gets into debt with the mafia, more than he can pay and kidnapped, he realises this might be the end of the line for him. However, Mafioso offers them a deal that they simply cant resist (Literally). Will this be the start of an unexpected acquaintance, or something more?
