He still felt complex about Primus but, if prayers would ever be answered, "Primus," His voice trembled, "Please make him mine." - Optimus was broken when he left Cybertron. And Megatron spoiled the daylight out of him after they reunited in another galaxy.

After Optimus was expelled from the Autobot Academy, he had no sense of what to do or where to go. Desperate for purpose, he ends up on a mining crew that travels the galaxy. But when their ship is attacked, Optimus' life will change forever.
