Warning⚠️ This story deals with emotional neglect, loneliness within marriage, power imbalance between alpha and omega, pregnancy under pressure, and psychological distress. Some scenes may be emotionally difficult. In an omegaverse ruled by contracts and bloodlines, Est becomes an omega bound to an alpha who never chose him. William, powerful and distant, treats their marriage as nothing more than an obligation. Love was never part of the agreement. Cold nights, unspoken pain, and silent tears become Est's reality. He endures. He stays. He remains silent. Behind closed doors, a bond slowly fractures under neglect and resentment. And when silence reaches its breaking point, consequences can no longer be ignored. Some bonds are forged by law. Others are tested by pain. The question is- what happens when silence can no longer protect the omega?

This is the first novel of the series - Fragments of us..... . . . Aarav Sharma enters AIIMS with a NEET rank that puts him among the best in the country. He expects pressure. He expects competition. He expects sleepless nights and endless exams. He does not expect Dr. Riyan Malhotra. Riyan is everything an AIIMS professor shouldn't be: Cold. Precise. Obsessed with control. His students fear him, his colleagues respect him, and no one ever gets close. One accident on Aarav's first day breaks the distance between them. A spilled bottle. A silent stare. An unexpected connection neither of them can ignore. As days turn into weeks, Riyan finds himself drawn toward Aarav in ways he can't explain or control. Aarav, caught between admiration and fear, struggles to understand why his professor's presence affects him more than it should. Then enters Dr. Shalini, the cardiologist who once had a place in Riyan's life, and Kabir, Aarav's closest friend who sees more than Aarav admits. Jealousy grows. Lines blur. Aarav begins to lose sleep, meals, and clarity. Riyan begins to lose the distance he built around himself. Two people-one afraid to feel, one afraid to admit. One too controlled, one breaking silently. Their worlds collide again and again inside the AIIMS walls: in classrooms, in corridors, in late-night cabins, and in places where emotions are not supposed to exist. But once obsession starts, it doesn't stop. And once love begins, it doesn't ask for permission. But still something more waiting for him in his love life. Something that which both of them not want or never. A story of longing, unspoken feelings, slow-burn tension, emotional wounds, and a bond that grows where it should never have begun.

He sat on the floor, shaking-eyes swollen, fists clenched. Ansh's sobs echoed off the marble walls, soft at first, then cracking like thunder. "Why did I think this was love?" he whispered. "Why did I believe in you?" Beyond the half-closed door, a man stood still. Listening. But not moving. Not even an inch. The sound of heartbreak didn't move him-he had trained himself too well. "This marriage is duty," he whispered to himself. "Nothing more." And so, he walked away. Leaving the boy alone-protected, married... But unloved.

Rudra pov Sun was losing its shine and dissolving in sea and with it I was losing hope and my freedom. I never thought in my entire life that I had to leave everything, but it would be in vain and at that very moment I realize that Running doesn't mean escaping but stopping isn't an option. In an apartment near sea, I was being cornered in my room, the place which was my save heaven for few years feels like a prison, air suddenly feels heavy as if sensing the turmoil of my heart, temperature changed ,dropping by several Celsius like my blood pressure because they were here- my lovers, my husbands, my jailers, my poisons. Three years ago, I ran away from them, leaving the life behind I had known but standing in front of them make it feels like it was all wasted. Like my freedom was an illusion and now the time of waking up has arrived. A loud breathing broke me from my thoughts, and he steps closer and said, "still trying to run Jaan" and moved closer, closing the distance between us. I took several steps back and my back hit a chest. Suddenly a pair of hands wrapped around me, making it impossible to move and then a breath came at my ear "don't fight us baby, accept the truth." I was trapped from both side and apprehended that now no option is left, there is no path which led to my freedom. author's note - hi guys please support my story, this is my first time writing something.
