With his powers sealed, leaving him stranded on Teyvat, Aether together with Paimon set out on a journey to find The Seven. Stumbling upon an unknown mausoleum, Aether awakes an ancient deity who decides to grant the traveler's wish. "Harmony makes small things grow. Lack of it makes big things decay." were the words the deity always uttered to infuse souls with encouragement, now they are a promise of doom, a catastrophe brought by the hands of a god greater than the Seven.

(Story on-going) Blood binds; in the Abyss, it congeals into chains. Aether journeyed through the five great nations of Teyvat, encountering countless souls-forming friendships, forging alliances, and clashing with adversaries. Through it all, he remained grounded, modest, and quietly yearned for a serenity uniquely his own. He found that serenity, surprisingly, in Skirk, the enigmatic mentor known as Childe's master, the Sinner's Pupil. He never imagined she would grant him peace, nor that she shared his quiet longing. Perhaps it was finally time to slow down, to gently reflect alongside someone who genuinely understood him-someone whose soul resonated with his own, even as the Abyss stirred beneath their feet.
