Along the journey she meets many foes, but many friends as well. As well as a chance for love with a handsome Ranger from the North. But darkness dwells among Middle Earth and haunts her mind. Before she knows it, Aleana is fighting two battles. The one before everyone and the one in her mind. Will she have the courage to be victorious or will she fail and fall to the depths of evil? Perhaps it is love she needs to prevail, but how sure can she be that she will receive that love when the one she loves belongs to someone else?

Middle-Earth stands upon the brink of destruction. Will it persevere, or will it succumb to the Ring of Sauron? In a bed chamber high in the trees of Lothlorien is a young she-elf is sound asleep. "She will wake soon if Mithrandir is to proceed with his quest to Erebor. The darkness will grow, and she will awaken to fight it, like she did long ago." Galadriel says, turning to her husband and taking his hand. The she-elf is not as young as she seems, she had nearly faded when Galadriel found her at the beginning of the second age. The elf never woke, but the Lady of Light has foreseen it; Naehlara will awaken to help lead the elves, men and all free folk to peace, for she is the High Queen of the elves. The only living elf from the first age. Her fae grows stronger with every year bringing her closer to awakening. Galadriel once was friends with the elf, her father Thingol; king of Doriath before it was abandoned and forgotten as the first age elves left Middle Earth to go back to Valanor or faded with time. "I have longed to see my friend reawaken but how do you explain to one that nearly two ages has passed since she fell into slumber." Galadriel says, a small smile growing on her face. "She was a mighty warrior, the best in all of Middle Earth. But she was stubborn, not as wise as most elves. A lot more like our Woodland kin, the ones in Greenwood." Galadriel says, a laugh slipping through her lips as she remembers watching Naehlara fight in the wars long ago.
