Ryuusei Long is an old friend of the Battle Brawlers but mysteriously disappeared while accidently going to a portal that leads to New Vestroia. While in New Vestroia he meets two dragon Bakugans that have never been seen before. Ryuusei returns to aid the brawlers once again, but something had changed him while being in New Vestoria for 5 years.

I know this is gonna sound weird but one day my whole world changed, you see cards started falling out of the sky, coming down like rain, at first we didn't knew were they where coming from or who send them, we only knew they were more than just ordinary cards, and it was happening all around the world, in the North, in the South, they landed everywere, together with my new online friends all around the world, we invented a wicked new game we call bakugan, that's when the power of the cards was revealed, each held their own battling beast which came to life when you threw it down, the battles were intense and if you chose the wrong card and lost it and the beast inside but that's only half the story, another even bigger battle was taking place in a parallel universe called vestroia, my name is Dan and together with my friends Runo, Marucho, Julie, not to mention mister hot shot himself Shun, Alice and my brother Y/n we are the bakugan battle brawlers! The story continues after the fall of Beacon as Ruby and the rest of team JNPR head to Haven Acadamy while Dan and Drago help Yang with recovery. But on the far distant island of Menagerie Blake is fleeing to see her family but is accompanied by Sun Wukong but is also being watched by a shadowy figure. The winds are changing in the world of Remnant.

The story continues as team RWBY, Dan, Drago, Shun, Ingram, and the rest of team JNPR arrive in Atlas, but they soon realize that Atlas was probably not the right place to be at the moment.
