Those hashiras were brave, too determined to kill the thing that caused this traumatic event on people. They didn't think too much about what they would face, having no clue of who they would meet. All it took was one single decision they made. This decision almost costed one of their lives. Well, the situation was actually worse than just losing a life. It's worse than anything they can think of. Its worse for everyone. For both Sanemi Shinazugawa and Giyuu Tomioka. At least that's what Giyuu thought. Or Sanemi Shinazugawa becomes the one thing that he hates the most in his life. The one thing that he swore to kill no matter what and who it was. a demon. Giyuu Tomioka never escaped from the clutches of insanity. Being dragged away by relatives of his that were doctors all because he insisted that his sister was slaughtered by demons, it was the truth, but over time as these doctors started to chip away at his mind he was left unsure of any reason demons would exist in a world. These doctors always tormented Giyuu even in his sleep to the point he became an emotionless being. Until he was saved by a woman. For the first time in years Giyuu actually felt something and instead of working on the opposing side of demons, he found himself working for a demon, she was kind and quiet, and almost emotionless in a way, she treated Giyuu like a normal human being but then she was recruited to help people who slayed demons, since she couldn't work in the sunlight, Giyuu was often sent in her stead when test were being ran during the day, there he met some people who were interesting, people's lives that were damaged by demons but they never seemed emotionless like him, it confused him made him wonder if he was always supposed to be like this, if there was a way he could have been different. As he wonders into his thoughts, he runs into someone, someone who looked severely damaged by the hands of demons on the outside but on the inside he seemed put together but a little degraded, he seemed to be intrigued by Giyuu and Giyuu wouldn't admit but he intrigued him. So Giyuu found himself being followed by this person and constantly annoyed by him that for the first time in years he felt emotions.

Hashira's go to night school. This story takes place in the modern era, not reincarnated though. Sanemi is sick and tired of trying to fit school and work in his daily schedule so he starts night school.
