Disaster plagues a small town. People are kidnapped, found dead, or never found at all. But this town is no normal place, it is backwards. Sane adults are locked away in jails, or worse. Sensible children are enrolled into a school for the "Mentally Disabled", and seem to lose their memories after entering the fog that surrounds the school. There are few students enrolled at that school who figure out what's happening, but they never get the chance say anything. Because they're never seen again, until they venture through the doors of the school one day, completely different. Even the teachers there go missing from time to time, and then return with entirely different personalities.

When his best friend (and unofficial girlfriend for that matter), is murdered, Billie finds him self loosing all self control. So two years later when he meets a girl by chance, he sees his whole world change. But is it for the better? And when he finally finds out who killed his beloved friend will it make him feel any better? And for that matter how does he feel about the involvement of the mystery girl whose turned his whole life upside down? (Contains; drug use, sex, bad language, crime and violence).
